If Cakes are like Facebook, Dolly Drive is like….

Have you seen those new memes that have been showing up on Facebook lately?

Birthday cakes are made for people to be together. They give friends a place to gather and celebrate. But too much cake probably isn’t healthy. So birthday cake is a lot like Facebook. – Facebook Meme

Backed by fun pictures, they explain what Facebook is like – Halloween. Swimming Pools. Birthday Cake. I’ve seen some blogs that mock them, but truthfully, I like them. They make me smile and they confirm something I already believed but never articulated.

But it’s funny timing because it coincides with a new statement we’ve been making about Dolly Drive.  Which is that Dolly Drive is your new best friend.

When you think about what sync and backup mean to you, you realize that it’s about always having someone there for you. When you lose everything on your computer in the middle of the night, who would stay up with you to help you get it all back? Your best friend, right? Well, now you can get it back and not have to stay up all night because of your new BFF Dolly.

If you’re on a date at a restaurant and realize your boss needs a file that’s on your Mac, who would you call to run home for you and pick up the file? (at least if you were in a romantic comedy!) Your best friend. Well, now it’s on your phone for you so you don’t have to run home. Thanks to your buddy Dolly.

So, if the Facebook ad team wrote why Dolly Drive is your best friend, it would probably go something like this:

Dolly Drive is like your best friend. Best friends are the first person you call to get you out of a jam. If you ever need a copy of a picture that you can’t find anywhere, your best friend probably has it too. If there’s one person who makes you feel like your safe and protected wherever you are, it’s your best friend. So Best Friends are a lot like Dolly Drive.
